This week in Tarot 4 Tyson…

  1. The Past – Queen of Wands
  2. The Present – Knight of Cups (reversed)
  3. The Future – Three of Cups
  4. The Outcome- Five of Cups (reversed)

While reading “A Grimoire for Modern Cunningfolk” by Peter Paddon, I decided that I had better get to reading your cards for the week because what would you do without me? Right?  The lighting was a little wonky and the cats were being annoying since it was near their dinner time, but I thought the picture came out alright. No skull this week.  Maybe next week.

This week we have a lot of Cups cards which speaks to the emotions.  As we see, there is a lot of festivity going here.  The Queen of Wands opens the spread as she looks over the other three cards.  The Knight of Cups gestures towards her, possibly offering her a drink, but I would say that his reversed nature says that he is unsuccessful as she seems to be more interested in what’s going on with the Three of Cups as they appear to be having a good time.

However despite the festivity, there is also a tone of neglect.  Perhaps this is ladies night? NO MEN ALLOWED as the Knight (2) seems put off and the Five of Cups looks very alone.  This week also seems to be in a state of transition with events arriving and moving away.  The emotions are high for sure as well as the loneliness and confusion.  (Yay for Mercury in retrograde! *GAG*)  It’s tough to tell where you fit in with all this Dr. Tyson, but I suspect that you may be related to the Knight and the distant stranger in the final card.  Don’t worry though, there is always next week.  But until then I have to get my Peter Paddon on.  Cheers!
