This week in Tarot 4 Tyson… What an unfortunate start this week as the first three cards reveal disorder, financial concern, relationship issues, and Chaos.  Thankfully though the final card (4) reveals a sense of gain, benefit, and new ground.

  1. The Past – Five of Pentacles (reversed)
  2. The Present – The Lovers (reversed)
  3. The Future – Five of Wands (reversed)
  4. The Outcome- Ten of Pentacles

The Reading: Being Mr. Tyson must come at a price, one which apparently involves obstacles on a weekly basis.  Interestingly, in the first card we see two individuals walking in the snow outside of what appears to be a church window.  Are they heading to the front door or are they choosing to remain separate from the building and the people inside?  Are they giving the “cold shoulder” to these other people or are they the recipients of it?  Either way, their decision does not come lightly.  Later, their relationship turns upside down (2) indicated by the reversed Lovers card, as a result of the Five of Pentacles, which then causes disorder and passionate conflict to break out as told by the Five of Wands. Yet despite the down turn of this week’s spread the outcome is beneficial regardless (4).

Prone to reversed cards?

    Chris Orapello · October 3, 2012 at 5:56 pm

The Rider Waite deck can be prone to reverse cards because the backs of the cards don’t give an indication as to what is up or down so holding and shuffling the deck is ambigious, hence prone to reverse cards. I don’t look at the deck or alter the cards in anyway when I shuffle or deal so anything can happen and depending on how you pick up the deck, it can dramatically alter the spread. Perhaps it’s fate?
