059_saraj-232x300Hello and thank you once again for joining me down at the crossroads for some music, magick, and Paganism. Where witches gather for the sabbath, offerings are made, pacts are signed for musical fame and we cross paths with today’s most influential Pagans, occultists, and deep thinkers. I am your bewitching, bald headed, host Chris Orapello and tonight Tara and I meet with beloved blogger, artist, and professional witch Sarah Anne Lawless to discuss witchcraft, her blog, entheogens, flying ointments, and the idea and practice of soul flight. We have a great discussion about her work and experience as a non Wiccan witch and her flying ointments that are available online through the Black Arts Foundry website.

I just listened to the down at the crossroads podcast and it was great, very much like a trip down memory lane. In the 70’s I lived in rural Ontario and my neighbours, we all called the ‘Hippy Vets, were always mixing something up for us to try… I learned a lot from them.
I remember a while back one of your articles touched on using lard in ointments and you mentioned that pigs being so similar to humans and it just clicked in my brain. I have always used lard and I just assumed that it’s use in ointments was because lard was something that everyone had in their pantry.
All of the information you shared in the interview with Christopher was fantastic! It’s good to know that even after 30 years of making ointments I can still have a lot to learn.
I’m looking forward to your book!

I remain impressed (as well as a subscriber). Excellent podcast once again with both interview and music. Keep up the good work!

Hello Chris. I recently stumbled across your podcast and I am hooked! I have been listening to the episodes in reverse and am on #16 Crisis Of Faith. I enjoy both incarnations (Ti & TB & DatC) of your show very much and look forward to the new ones. I do miss the “Essence of Magick” series in the new format, though…any chance of bringing that back? Also, In one of your early episodes, someone wrote in asking about Marie Laveau as a topic for “A Corner in The Occult”. I don’t remember hearing you do one, and am also interested in hearing what you have to say. One last thing…Is there any way to access episodes before #12, as this is as far back as Stitcher will go.

I have shared a few episodes with my group, and it always sparks good conversation. Thank you for making a podcast i can’t stop listening to. Blessed Be (what’s 93?)

    Hi Cheri!

Glad you are enjoying the show old and new episodes! No, I don’t have any plans on scripting anything for the podcast anymore. It was a lot of work to research, write, and then record and edit each segment. I did it for over 30 episodes and that was enough 😉

As far as episodes prior to 12? Interesting I noticed my website player only goes to 12 too, but if you subscribe via iTunes you’ll have access to all or just visit the libysn feed directly at http://infinitebeyond.libsyn.com/

93 is a Thelemic greeting and good bye. 93 is the number for Will and Love. I go into it in an earlier episode which you can now access. 🙂

Thanks again for listening and sharing the show!
